Since then, a new batch of councilors have already taken their term in office and I thought it appropriate to hand over the reigns of this blog to them..

-To applicable councillors, please hand in your NYAA booklets by Tuesday, 30th Nov.
There will be a meeting on Monday (29th Nov) regarding the NYAA booklets and instructions on filling in the booklet.
-Councillors unsure of how to fill in the booklets may look for Weiyang, Jasvinder or Yahuan.

Conclusion
-Please take note of all the dates and please turn up for everything
.-If you cannot come, do not only personally inform the teachers, but also personally inform me as well. That is because I will be taking attendance.
-All councillors who are going on holiday must give me details of your holidays and period of stay so as to inform the teachers and keep track of your attendance.
-Please fill in your NYAA booklets ASAP, any queries remember to check with either Weiyang, Jasvinder or Yahuan.

AIM: To learn how to give useful service to others

BRONZE: At least 15 hours spread over a period of 3 months

To provide opportunities for team-work, self-reliance, determination, co-operation and development of individual qualities.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Participants must plan, train for, and undertake a venture which involves travel by personal effort with a clearly defined purpose.

BRONZE: 2 Days outing including 1 night in tent or shelter, with at least 12 hours of effort or activity.

Participants could either undertake an expedition or an exploration project.

Tmr after school will be the car wash thing, we will wash car juz at the place where they are parked, which is neared the office block... u will be provided with pails and refill the water urself...

I will split u all into groups(according to commitees)which is shown above beside the teachers' names, so find ur repective teachers and approach them asap regarding the car wash. (Note:Collect $$$ 1st be4 u wash the car, 10 bucks) If other teachers come to u and ask to wash the car, agreed immediately hehe...As we all noe the chances of the cars present is very low...so we will only wash those cars tat present and wash as many as possible. MAKE SURE THE CAR IS REALLY CLEAN AND DUN ACCIDENTALLY MAKE A SCRATCH ON THE CAR...2PPL wash 1 car, MAX NO. PPL-3...Once u r done pls kindly go and help other scs...

Take Note: If u hav CCA tmr or O level mother tongue oral exam, go 4 ur exam and cca...

And Those who are washing bring extra set of clothing....

Also REM to write a small card or paper( best is card to put on the car indicating it has been washed...this looks more professional...) so u dun hav to go the teacher personally to let them noe tat the cars are ready...

Groups: cos is in committe, within ur committee sort out who will approach which teacher...

Dear all, please take note that tomorrow, 24th August 2006, will be a 'packing day' for councillors( unable to state pack WHAT. Our school teachers may read this ) It'll be held in The Launch Pad at 2.15pm. Teck Ee will be the in-charge for tomorrow. Except for those involved in concert rehearsal and valid reasons(lessons,MC,etc) you're to turn up for the 'packing'. Attendance will be taken and absentees without valid reasons will be dealt with severely. Please pass this message to ALL the councillors.

it'll be a "Be-Yourself Day" on Teachers' Day Celebration day. After much discussion, Suhailah wants to seek your opinion on whether you would like "Hip & Funky" as our Student Council theme. This means that you have to wear in accordance with the theme set. Should there be any other suggestions on the theme, kindly tag on the tagboard. Deadline for this : Friday, 18/08/2006.

ALL of you should have received an email attachment indicating all the meeting dates that we'll be having from Teck Ee. If you for any reason, can't open the attachment, do email your heads of committee to get them forward it to you. Kindly make yourselves free on those dates, it's okay to miss your dates with your boyfriends/girlfriends once in a while. I'm just joking. Anyway, August's going to be kind of hiong(?)/ chiong(?) 1. In commemoration of Racial Harmony Day next Friday, 28/07/2006, it is compulsory for ALL, no less, councillors to wear ethnic costumes. Do borrow from your friends if you don't own one. Be more enthusiastic lah, hor? =))

2. It's a little last minute thing, but tomorrow, 20/07/2006, Mr Murali will be visiting our holding school( "new" school in a sense). If you're interested, meet Mr Murali under the umbrella area at 2.15pm. Punctuality is a virtue. =D

3. Teachers' Day celebrations! Drawing very near! Jiayou people! Impossible Is Nothing! =DDD

Hello Councillors! Glad to see you guys and girls tagging! Do keep those tags coming up. =) Ok i'll come to the point straight.

Firstly, please be informed that there will be a short urgent meeting on Friday, 14/07/2006 immediately after school outside the PE store. There will be an announcement tomorrow regarding this meeting, so not to worry,but please be punctual! Afterall, punctuality is a virtue.

Secondly, Mrs Chua would like to meet ALL councillors, no less, after school on Monday,17/07/2006. Further details will be provided soon, so do stay alert to the daily morning annoucements.

Thirdly, don't worry about the Food Festival @ West Mall on Sunday. We'll get that sorted out tomorrow, 14/07.

Next, the Student Council CHEERS! Kindly submit your master pieces to Suhailah/Teck Ee by tomorrow, 14/07/2006!

Also, those who have missed today's(13/07/2006) Duties Training Workshop, kindly turn up for Monday's(17/07/2006). Please check the time and venue with WeiYang.
